Chapter 14

Nora walked back to her office. She picked up her phone and dialed Bo.

“Buchanan.”
“What in the hell is wrong with your wife?”
“Nora? What are talking about?”
“Your wife came up to me in the park today and threatened me, she told me to leave town Bo.”
“What? Oh come on Nora, that doesn’t sound like her at all.”
“I am telling you Bo, she finds me threatening to your marriage, what in the hell did you tell her?”
“Only that you were a woman I once has a short relationship with that produced a son. That is it.”
“Bo she thinks I came to town to steal you, Bo I don’t want her near our son.”
“I’ll talk to her.”

“BO!”
“I’ll keep Cody away from her.”
“Thank you.”

Nora hung up, she was so disturbed by what happened. Violet was so nuts. Nora worried for Cody, if she was like that with Nora what would she do to Cody? Nora paced, then she realized she need to investigate Bo’s wife.

Nora’s office door opened.

“Hi Mom!”
“Hi sweetie how was school?”
“Great, I am in the same class as Jessy!”
“Oh that great honey.”
“Did you know dad was her uncle!”
“I did know that.”
“That makes Jessy my cousin!”
“It sure does.”
“Mom, does dad have any more family?”
“Yeah, you remember Asa?”
“Yes.”
“That is your grandpa.”
Cody’s eyes got really big..

“MOM! Will dad introduce me to all of the family?”
“I bet he will.”

“COOL!”

Nora laughed at her son's excitement. She took his hand.

“Let’s go home.”

They opened to door, Bo was on the other side about to knock.

“Oh, I was.. Hi, I wondered if Cody would want to meet the family tonight.”
Cody started to jump and down, Nora laughed.

“He was just asking about that, Jess is in his class.”

“Oh, so?”
“Cody?”
“Yeah!!”

“Ok, let’s go home first and put away your school stuff.”
“Let me drive you two.”
