Love's Witness Chapter 11

Chapter 11
Bo woke up to an empty bedroom. His heart stopped, until he heard her walking around out in the living room. He got up and put his boxers on and walked out of the bedroom. His heart skipped a beat. She was sitting on the couch reading a textbook wearing his shirt. She hadn’t heard him. He quietly walked up behind her. He kissed her neck. She jump slightly.
“Bo, you scared me.”
“Sorry, love you.”
She reached behind her and pulled him close, kissing him.
“Love you too.”
He sighed.
“Red? What exactly happened? Your roommate made it sound like she saw you move out with an ex.”
Nora rolled her eyes.
“One thing I do not miss is that nut job. Bo remember when she said I slept around?”
He nodded.
She sighed.
“What she saw was FBI agents. I had several who came and checked on me. The one who helped me move out was one who had been around a week before you came into my life. Bo, I am in serious danger. You really must be careful what you say, you must never mention my real name, even when we are by ourselves. You never know who is listening.”
He kissed her gently.
“I understand, I’ll just keep to calling you Red.”
She smiled.
“I think that is more than acceptable. I have to get around. I have class in a couple of hours.”
She stood kissing him. She started towards the bathroom, then turned around.
“You coming Buchanan? I hate to be in the shower all alone.”
Bo didn’t need any encouragement he got up and ran towards the bathroom.

An hour later. Nora was dropping Bo off at Roadies to get his car.
“I am in class till 6 tonight. Where are you living? I’ll come over there. You know help you move furniture.” She winked.
Bo laughed.
“I am living in the Fairview apartment on Jefferson, apt 302. And I’d love you to come over tonight to move furniture.”
They kissed. Bo got out of the car and watched her drive off. Bo got in his car so happy. Then he started to think about everything. He realized how little he knew about her predicament and how much he’d have to keep from his family. He didn’t like keeping things from Clint, but he had to keep her safe. He put his car in gear thinking about all he had learned in the past 24 hours, trying to keep his fears at bay for the woman he loved.
