Chapter 15

Bo got Nora home with no issues. It didn’t take 5 minutes before her and Asa were fighting. He sighed, too much stubbornness in one room.

“Time out you two! Pa, Nora needs heal, don’t fight with her.”
“It’s not my fault she has a mouth on her!”
Bo rolled his eyes and looked over at Nora.

“And you miss, don’t fight with Pa.”
“Well if he wasn’t so chauvinistic this wouldn’t be an issue.”

“Fine, but you two need to stay in separate corners while Nora is healing. Ok? After that you two can fight all you want.”
Nora and Asa both eyes each other and begrudgingly gave him an answer.

“Fine.”

“Good. Now Red, we moved everything downstair until you can walk better.”
“Thank  you.”
Then she smiled at him and ran her hand down his arm.

“Do I get a roommate by any chance.”
Bo smiled brightly.

“I think that I do have that as part of the arrangement.”
Asa let out a sarcastic laugh.

“Great! You two won’t be able to keep you hands off each other and end up in the hospital again.”
Bo glared at Asa.

“We promised the doctor we would behave for another month. Right Red.”
She sighed.

“Yes, unfortunately we did agree to that.”

“HA! You two won’t last one night let alone one month.”

“Quiet Pa!”
Bo gave Nora a quick kiss.

“What we having for dinner?”
Bo laughed.

“Well Red I know how much you have loved the hospital food.” Nora stuck out her tongue in disgust. “But though you might want to try some Hamburgers and Fries!”
“OHH! YES!”
Nora put her arms around and gave him a deep kiss. Bo heard his father mumble under his breath. “Not going to make one day.” Nora let go of him.

“When do I get this dinner?”
“It should be here soon Red. Why don’t you relax until it gets here.”
She sighed and leaned against him.

“Probably a good idea, I am feeling a bit tired.”

Bo kissed her forehead then helped her to the room that had been set up for them. Nora smiled as they got to the room.

“Bo, this is wonderful. Thank you.”
“Anything for you beautiful.”
Bo helped lay in the bed, she sighed.

“It is so good to be in my own bed.”
“I know.”
Bo kissed her forehead. By the time he stood up she was out. He ran a hand down her face. Then left the room.  He enter the living room finding Clint and Asa discussing BE. Clint looked up first.

“She sleeping?”
“Yeah, feel asleep as soon as her head hit the pillow. Thank you both for helping me and Nora.”
“Anything for you little Bro.”
“So what is going on with you two?”
“Your brother found a women today.”
Bo laughed.

“Really?”
Clint’s face turned really red. Bo interest peaked.

“So who is she?”
“Um, Viki Lord. She owns the paper in town.”
“She is mouthy just like your filly.”
Bo smiled.

“Good, so you two going to go out on a date?”
Clint smiled.

“Yes, tomorrow night.”

Asa began to grumble.

“Oh come on Pa, when is the last time both Clint and I had a steady relationship at the same time? It’s been years.”

“Yeah, but why are they both so far from Texas? Do you think I’ll move here?”
“Yes, because you may be stubborn and a pain, but family is the most important thing to you.”
Asa cursed so more then left the room. Bo heard the doorbell ring..

“Oh, that must be the food.”
“I’ll get it Bo, why don’t you get Nora up.”
“Thanks Clint.”

Bo walked back to the bedroom, Nora was still sound asleep. He almost hated to wake her, but he knew she be mad if he didn’t get her up for food.

“Red?”
He leaned down and kissed her as she began to wake. Nora sighed and stretched, then put her hands on his face smiling. She pulled him back down to kiss again.

“Hey. Food here?”
“Yep.”
“Good I am starving.”
Bo smiled and stood there just in case she need help. Once she got up they walked together towards the kitchen. Bo watched her as he walked. He felt his heart beat fast, he felt like his life was really ready to start again.
