Chapter 13

Nora sat at work going through her cases. Her phone rang.
“Hanen”
“Nora it’s Bo.”
“Oh Hi”

“Nora I told my wife. She’s umm she is a bit upset.”
Nora sighed, she was afraid of this.

“Bo, what do want me to do?”
“Nora, I am not sure what I am suppose to do here. She says she doesn’t want a child, but Cody is mine.”
“Bo why are acting like you want him? You never took any interest before? What you afraid you’ll look bad in the community?
“NORA I WANT HIM! GOD DAMN IT!”

She could hear him breathing on the other end trying to calm down.

“Nora I didn’t know I swear! Besides, if you had not cheated on me, I would have been there!”
“I never cheated on you!”

Nora put the phone on her shoulder and took a deep breath. She put it back to her face.

“Listen Bo, I don’t care what you decided to do, just be careful with Cody.”
She hung up on him.

Nora decided to take a walk. She went to the park that was empty since school was in session. She sat and thought. She was still so in love with Bo, she knew that. But his insistence that she cheated on him and that he didn’t know about Cody hurt her so deeply. She notice someone else coming into the park. She realized it was Violet.

“Oh hey Violet I haven’t seen you.”
“LEAVE!”
“Excuse me?”
“LEAVE THIS TOWN AND TAKE YOUR BRAT WITH YOU!”

“What in the hell is wrong with you? I don’t even know you.”
“No, but you know my husband don’t you, oh you know him really well.”
Nora was so confused.
“I am sorry Violet, but who is your husband.”
“Bo Buchanan.”
“Oh. I, Violet I didn’t know.”
“Yeah right, leave, I am not going to have you mess up this life I built.”
“I don’t want to! But Bo suddenly wants his son, I can’t stop him.”
“You can LEAVE!”
“I am not leaving, I will not hurt my son like that, and I would never keep him from his father.”

“You know I worked really hard to get him from you, I am not going to lose him.”
Nora looked at Violet, she freakin nuts.

“You know, if you don’t want to see my son fine, but you have nothing to worry about from me, he doesn’t love me. Never has.”
Violet laughed.

“God, you two are so stupid. Stay away from me and my husband.”
With that Violet left leaving Nora in a confused and worried state.
