Chapter 7

Nora and Bo spent the next two months practically joined at the hip. Only separating when she had job interviews or he had meetings with his lawyers.  Her roommate laughed every time she came home.

“It like I live alone, but please keep paying the rent!”

Nora did get a job, but it wouldn’t start for another two weeks. She was so excited and nervous. Bo was so excited for her, it was adorable.

Bo and Nora spent most of time enjoying each other’s bodies. Nora couldn’t get enough of him, but they had so much fun even when doing something like watching TV.  Nora knew she was falling in love with him.

Nora was on his couch going of some new cases that had just went though the supreme court. She heard Bo walk into the room.

“Red?”
“What?”

“How do you feel about dancing”
“Like disco?”
Bo laughed.

“No, I mean like ballroom, jitterbug, swing, 50’s.”
“Oh! I love it!”
“Well there is a 50’s dance dinner just out of town I thought we could go tonight.”
“Oh BO! I think that sounds wonderful.”

She kissed him and he kissed her back. He parted from her, he moved her hair out her face. Nora smiled, she loved the way he looked at her.
“Red, I love you.”
Nora felt tears of joy.

“Bo, I love you so much too!”

Bo held her to him and kissed her. He kissed down her neck and began to remove her clothes.

The knocked. Bo got up kissing her one last time. Bo answered the door to Asa.

“Bo we need to go home. Oh, Nora didn’t realize you were here.”
“Pa, what do mean we have to go home?”
“It is your mother, Bo she had a stroke, we need to get back to Texas now.”
Nora saw Bo’s face fall with the news.

“Ok, let me get a few things first.”
“You have an hour to get to the airport.”
“I’ll be there Pa.”
Asa left, Bo turned to her. She walked over to him and embraced him.

“I am sorry Red.”
“No, Bo go to you mother.”
They kissed. Bo started to pack fast Nora helped him.

“Red I have this suite paid for the next two days, don’t rush out. I’ll contact you as soon as I can.”
She nodded helping him. They head towards the door and down the elevator. Bo grabbed her kissing her on their way down. They got to the lobby a cab was waiting. Bo got his cases in the trunk he turned to her and kissed her again. He put his forehead on hers.

“I love you Nora Hanen.”
“I love you Bo Buchanan.”
Nora watched her lover get and the cab and leave. She had sense of sadness and dread. She missed him so much already.
