Chapter 12
Nora slowly walked into the house, she saw Bo first. The room was beautiful He turned and saw her, he smiled and went over to her kissing her on the cheek. He took her hands and pulled her in the room.
“Bo we need to talk.”
“Just a minute Red.”
Bo kissed her, then got on one knee. Nora felt her heart stop, this couldn’t be happening. She saw him pull out the ring. She began to cry. She was going to crush him.
“Red will you marry me again.”
She shook her head. Bo’s confusion was evident.
“Red?”
“Bo it isn’t working, I think I should move out.”
Nora didn’t dare look at him, she could feel his heart breaking just like hers. He quickly stood up.
“What? Where did that come from? Red? Don’t shake you head, damn it look at me.”
Nora didn’t look up, Bo grabbed her face and forced her to look at him. She started to sob, she hated to see him in pain. She jerked away from him and ran upstairs. She closed the door to their bedroom and quickly began to pack. Bo was outside the door trying to open it.
“Red open this door. Please don’t do this. I don’t understand. I love you so much, you and our baby is everything to me. Please honey don’t leave.”
Nora wiped away her tears as she finished packing. She walked over to the door with the case in her hand and opened the door. Bo eyes went right to her case. Nora started downstairs
“NO! I don’t understand you love me and I love you. We make each other so happy.”
Nora held her breath, she needed to do this, for his safety.
“I can’t be with you.”
Bo stopped walking and grabbed her.
“What? When did that happen?”
“Let go Bo, I am leaving. I am sorry, but I can’t do this. I don’t” she sobbed. “I don’t love you.”
Bo started to cry too.
“No, Red, why?”
Nora knew what she had to do.
“I have been lying, this baby isn’t yours, it is Jack’s. Bo please let go of me.”
Bo finally let go of her, both were crying. Nora picked up her case and left her husband. She felt her heart ripping out of her body as she got into the car. She sobbed as she started the car.
