Chapter 18

Jack put a blindfold over her eyes.

“Don’t want you to know where we are going.”

Nora kept a hand on the baby, she need to feel him. After about an hour driving Nora felt the van stop. She blinked as they blindfold was taken off. They seemed to be in a warehouse. Ana opened the door.

“Get out.”
Nora unhooked the seatbelts on Caden’s seat and got out. Jack came beside and put his arm around her waist pulling her to him.

“God you are still beautiful. I still think about our hot night.”
Was he crazy? That night was awful. She didn’t reply she just followed Ana. They got to a door that Ana unlocked, Jack guided her inside. Nora’s heart fell. Bo was in the room tied to a chair.
“RED!”

“SHUT UP!”
“What is happening?”
“We are here today because I am here to take you for my own.”
Nora looked at Jack.

“What?”
“I am going to kill your ex-husband. Then you and I will leave together and be together.”
“So it’s been you and Ana threatening all of us?” Nora looked at Ana realization hit her. “You! You are the one who filed the divorce papers”
Ana smiled.

“Yes I did, dad gets you and I will take the baby and raise him.”
Nora hands gripped the car seat tighter. She tried to think of something.

“Caden is a newborn, he can’t be away from me.”
Jack waved her off..

“He’ll be fine. We can always make more.”

Oh God, Jack was crazy.

Jack walked over to Bo.

“So Bo, she tell you about our night together, the night that was suppose to give you baby?”
Bo didn’t answer him.

“Did she tell how hot it was. She was on fire, so passionate.”
Bo growled

“That isn’t how she told it.”
“Oh she was just trying to spare you.”
“You hurt her and she was crying. You are a horrible man, you should have told her no. She was emotionally distraught and not thinking right.”
“Oh please, could you say no to her? She begged for me to do her.”
“YOU HURT HER!”
Jack shrugged.

“She was begging, I wasn’t go to say no.”
Nora turned away, she just wanted to forget that night. Jack walked over to her and ran his hand down her face, she jerked away.

“Hey baby, don’t act like that. Bo will get over it.” He leaned closer to her. “We could do in front of him.”
Nora felt her food try to come up from her stomach. Bo started to threaten him. Caden started to cry. Her heart speed up, worried how Jack was going to react to the baby. Jack looked at the baby annoyed

“Take care of him.”
Nora took Caden out the seat and rocked him. She knew he was hungry. She pulled the bottle out of the bag she grabbed.

“Do you have a place I can warm this up?”
Jack motioned towards Ana. Ana took the bottle and left the room. Nora tried to calm the hungry baby. A couple minutes later Ana came back with the bottle. Nora checked it, she hesitated giving Caden the bottle. What if the bottle was tampered with? Nora tasted it first.

“What are doing?”
“I am scared you’ll try to hurt the baby with his food.”
“Why would I do that? Ana wants to raise him.”
Nora looked at Ana, her eyes tender towards Caden. Nora sighed and gave the bottle to Caden who quieted right away. Nora looked over at Bo. He looked terrible. Caden finished his bottle. She put him on her shoulder and tried to burp him.

She needed to figure a way out.
