Chapter 21

Nora woke up. It took her moment to realize where she was. She was in the hotel, it was still dark outside. She turned and reached towards Bo. He awake also, she felt her heart melt when she realized he had a sleeping Caden on his bare chest. Nora ran her hand down her son's back.

“Did he wake up?”
“No, I just needed to hold him.”

Nora sat up slightly.

“He’s pretty amazing isn’t he?”
Bo kissed the baby’s head.

“Yes he is. I can’t wait for us to get home and put him in his nursery.” He looked at her with adoring eyes. “I can’t wait to get you home and start our life like it should have always been.”
Nora caressed his face.

“Bo are we okay? I know some of the things I told you. I know it broke my heart to tell you, I am so sorry.”
Bo kissed Caden again then stood up and put him in the bassinet that hotel gave them. He came back to bed.

“Red I can’t lie, I was a wreck. I didn’t understand what I did and how I could have been so wrong about you. I lost all hope when you told me I couldn’t even see the baby, I never thought you’d keep out of you life like that, even if baby wasn’t mine. I was crushed.”
Nora started to cry.

“I am so sorry, I was so scared.”
Bo kissed her gently.

“Red, I understand. I probably would have done the same thing if positions were reversed, but it didn’t make the pain any less.” He put his forehead against hers. “I think we should put that all behind us. We should move forward and love each other and that perfect little guy over there.” Bo kissed her again. “What do you say.”
Nora held his face with her hands.

“That sounds perfect.”

Bo smiled. He gently pushed her on the bed as they started to kiss.

“I love you Nora.”
“I love you Bo.”

He ran his hands down her body.

“How long till we can make love again?”
Nora kissed his nose.
“At least 6 weeks.”
He groaned.

“I am not going to make it! It has already been two months!”
Nora kissed him.

“Bo with the baby we won’t have the energy anyways.”
He pulled her to his chest and held her.

“Mmmhmm, I think you forget who you are married too.” Nora laughed, then sighed. “Oh by the way. Will you marry me again?”
Nora kissed his chest.
“Yes, hope you still have the ring.”
“I do, no way I’d let go of something that important.”

“No, you wouldn’t and I am eternally grateful.”
Bo squeezed her. She smiled and listed to his breathing slow and steady as he fell asleep. She held him tight and looked over to where her sleeping son. Feeling grateful all that she had been blessed with.
