Chapter 12

The next month was excruciating for Nora. She hadn’t talked to Bo during that time, she was still confused. The pain was too much, she felt she only had one option, she went a lawyer. When Bo got back, she’d ask him for a divorce. It hurt, but she knew it was what needed to be done.

She walked into her house reading the document, the pain increased every time she read it. She finally put the papers down when someone knocked on the door. Blake was on the other side holding a pizza. She gave him a small smile and let him in.

“I got hawaiian, hope that is okay. I just thought we try something new.”
Blake stopped when he saw the divorce papers. He put the pizza down and looked at her.

“Nora? You're asking for  divorce? You think that is wise?”
“He cheated on me.”
“I know, but he has been out of the country for two months. Don’t you think you should talk face to face?”
“Why? Won’t change anything.”
“It could change everything. Nora you love this man and he loves you.”
“I KNOW! BUT HE BROKE ME! I CAN’T BE WITH HIM!”

Blake held his hands out.

“Okay, Okay. Let’s eat.”

They sat on the couch eating the pizza. Blake put his arm around her.

“You're going to be okay Nora.”
“I don’t know about that.”
“You will, you’re smart, funny, beautiful and strong.”
She smiled.

“Thanks.”
“No problem.”
When they finished Blake cleaned up.

“I should get going home. You need anything?”
“No, thank you.”

Blake bent down to kissed her cheek. Nora kissed his. He didn’t back away when it was over. She looked in his eyes, her breath caught. They were filled with lust and passion. It took her aback. Blake brought his face towards her this time kissed her lips softly. Nora closed her eyes as she kissed back. He pulled away from her slightly.

“Blake what was that?”
“Nora, come on. You are telling me you haven’t notice how attracted I am to you.”
Nora shook her head, then she thought back. How could she have missed all those signs? Blake kissed her again, this time more insistent. Nora didn’t resist. Blake pulled her body to his, running his hands down her body as he guided her to the closest wall. Nora gasped as his body moved against hers and his lips moved down her neck. She closed her eyes when his hand moved underneath her shirt.

In her mind she only had one thought. This will remove the pain, sex will make me forget.

Nora started to remove Blake’s clothing. Blake wasted no time getting her clothes off. Once her clothing was completely removed he lifted her leg over his hips.

A loud crash caused her to scream and jump. Blake turned around covering her body with his. She peaked around to see what made the noise. Her heart stopped.

Bo was finally home.
