Undermined Endearment Chapter 13

Chapter 13

Nobody moved. Nora could see hurt and confusion on Bo’s face, for a small moment it made her feel better that she caused him to feel what she had been feeling.

“Blake you need to leave, I need to talk to my wife.”
Blake turned around towards Nora, she suddenly felt very vulnerable.

“I can stay Nora.”
She shook her head.
“No, I can handle this.”
Blake bent down and kissed her. As he headed out, Bo stared him down. When the door closed Bo gazed went back to Nora. She covered her body with her arms, being self conscious around him was an alien feeling. She looked at the floor no longer able to take his gaze.

“l’ll give you a minute to dress.”
Bo picked up his suitcase and walked around her to head upstairs. She slowly picked up all her clothes and dressed. He came back down just as she put her shirt back on.

“So you are sleeping with Blake? How long? Before or after I screwed up?”
Nora didn’t say anything. She was in shock by what had just happened to give any answers. Bo ran a hand down his face.

“Come Red, just tell me.”
“I haven’t slept with Blake, what you walked into was a first.” She took a deep breath and jestered to where Bo had found her and Blake. “I...I didn’t even realize he saw me that way until today.”
Bo nodded.

“So he shows interest and you decide you are going to have sex with him?”
“No! I mean, I don’t know. I wasn’t thinking, I was in pain. Sex would have helped the pain, that all I was thinking. You don’t get to judge me, not after what you did.”
“Red I don’t even know what happened. I have no memory of it. Just her side.”

“Well, I got to hear how thrilled she was with you. So,yeah.”
She walked over to the table and picked up the divorce papers. She handed them to her.

“Divorce! Red please, no. I just go home, please lets talk this through.”
“No, it hurts too much Bo. This month has been hell for me, I need to move on.”
“With Blake?”
She shot him dirty look.

“Maybe, at least he has been here for me.”
“Yeah, so he could get you in bed, which he would have accomplished if I hadn’t just walked in!”

“So what!”
She flinched at the angered look Bo gave her.

“So what? Just because I screwed up doesn't mean you should just let any man have his way with you.”
“Any man! Bo he is one of my closest friends, he has helped me through this. Just so you know he has been pushing me not to divorce you.”
Bo scoffed.

“Sure, until he decided to fuck you, he didn’t seem to worried about divorce then.”
Nora stiffened.

“Because he respected my decision. Don’t be angry at me for this, it would have never happened if you had respected me.”
“I DO RESPECT YOU!”
“THEN WHY DID YOU HAVE SEX WITH SOMEONE ELSE!”
“I DON’T KNOW! AHH!” Bo rubbed his hands over his face. “I swear Red, I don’t know what happened. I love you so much. I was in total shock when I found her in my bed. Please Red, please we can work this out, we love each other, you love me, don’t you Red?”

She reluctantly nodded. He walked towards her, his arms reached towards her. She retreated back farther into the room. Bo awkwardly put his arms down.

“Red, please don’t shut me out.”
She shook her head.

“No, Bo this is over.  I think you need to move out.  Please just sign the papers.”
“We love each other.”
“SO WHAT! Didn’t stop you from cheating on me. I can’t do this Bo, I hurt all over and seeing you makes it so much worse.”
“I sign the papers then what? We still love each other, but we’ll be even more miserable, we can heal each other.”

“Please leave me alone Bo.”

Before she understood what happened Bo moved to her pulled her into an intense kiss. Nora felt completely breathless as his fever kisses moved down her neck. Bo’s hands moved under shirt. She realized what they were doing and pushed him away.

“don’t do that Bo, don’t ever do that again.”

She ran upstairs without even looking at him. She finally heard him leave a few minutes later. She laid down on their bed and cried till she fell asleep.
