Undermined Endearment Chapter 4

Chapter 4
The game was getting intense. Nora leaned over to Bo and nibbled on his ear.
“Red.”
“What?”
She could see him look over at Blake who was laughing at them.
“See what I mean!”
“Well boss I don’t think I could resist as long as you have.”
Nora hand squeezed his thigh, Bo jumped slightly.
“Trust me Blake, I am not doing as well as you think I am, this is years of training at work here.”
“Bo, just give her the damn money already.”
Bo gave Hank a dirty look.
“What? Don’t give me that look, it happens every time. It isn’t my fault that you can’t resist her. I’ve been your shoes buddy and I said no.”
“And that is why you two are divorced!”
She nuzzled his neck. Bo threw his cards down.
“FINE! You win Red!”
“YES!”
Nora smiled and collected all her winnings, she tried not to laugh at Bo who was obviously extremely uncomfortably aroused. She leaned over kissing him and whispering in his ear.
“Commish after they all leave I’ll more than make it up to you.” She looked at the table. “When the last time we did it on the poker table?”
Bo swallowed hard and took several deep breaths.  She saw Hank look at his watch.
“Man, I got to go. Fitz is expecting me in her chambers early tomorrow.”
She saw Blake cringe, she laughed.
“What Blake you already feel the wrath of Fitzy?”
“Yep, on the Turner case, I barely walked out there alive.”
Bo laughed.
“Don’t feel bad, she probably still likes you better than Nora.”
Nora rolled her eyes as both Bo and Hank laughed. She saw Blake look surprised.
“The judge doesn’t like you?”
“Uh no, I suggest you look into Todd Manning, then you’d understand.”
Bo put his arm around her and pulled her close kissing her temple.
“You were still right Red.”
“I know.”
Hank got up.
“Ok, Blake don’t let these two make a chump out of you.”
Both Bo and Nora gave a look of fake outrage. Hank left.
“I probably should get going too.”
“No, Blake. Stay a bit, don’t worry, it is still pretty early.”
“If you two are sure.”
“Sit detective.”
Blake smiled and sat down.
“Thank you two for inviting, I haven’t any real fun like this since I moved into town.”
Nora beamed.
“Stick with Bo and I, we’ll make sure you will always have fun.”
Bo gave him a seriously look.
“As long as you find eating really unhealthy food fun.”
“Oh yes, I find that fun.”
Bo smiled.
“Then you’ll be fine.”
Nora giggled kissing Bo again.
“How long have two been married?”
Bo put an arm around her.
“It will 6 years next month.”
“Wow, you two still act like you just married.”
“It’s all Nora, she can never get enough of the commish.”
Nora hit him. Blake chuckled.
“What about you Blake? You have anyone?”
He shook his head.
“I haven’t dated anyone in a long time. It is hard to find time.”
“Yeah, it can be difficult, I honestly don’t know what I’d do if I didn’t have my Red.”
Nora smiled at Bo running her hand down his face.
“You enjoying Llanview?”
“Yes, it is a nice town.  I just wish I had more time to get to know people. But working in Angel Square has been nice to really get to know the area, even made a few friends.”
“Carlotta right?”
Blake laughed.
“I’d starve if it weren’t for her.”
“Bo and I would probably never eat anything healthy if it weren’t for her.”
“So I take that this is your normal diet.”
Blake points towards the table filled with junk food.
“Yeah, lets just say Red didn’t marry me for my cooking skills and my skills are miles ahead of hers.”
“Excuse me, but I can cook fish.”
“Honey last time you made fish it burned.”
“Because you distracted me.”
“It was worth it.”
She grinned and kissed his cheek.
“Very worth it.”
Blake looked at his watch.
“Oh man I need to go. Thank you for inviting me over.”
“Thank you for coming, it was fun. I hope we all can do this again.”
“I would love that. See you two later.”
Blake left.
“I like him Red, I think he’ll fit into our little group.”
Nora smiled and put her arm around his neck.
“Are you sure, Hank may get jealous, he doesn’t like to share you.”
Bo laughed and kissed her.
“We’ll buy him a toy and break the news to him.”
Nora giggle and moved her body closer to him.
“I think I owe some back pay.” She looked over at the table. “So? The table or do we head upstairs.”
“Hmmm, well I really want to use the table, but if I take you upstairs we don’t have make our way back up after we exhausted ourselves.”
Nora leaned next to ear and whispered.
“I want to use the table.”
Bo sighed.
“If you insist”
Both laughed as they began to remove each others clothes and made their way to the poker table.
