Chapter 30

Nora laid on her bed trying to put her skirt on. The zipper wouldn’t go up, she wiggled and pulled. She heard laughter, she looked over at her husband who was grinning ear to ear at her.

“Shut up and help me!”
Bo walked over, pulling her off the bed. She turned, he tried to pull up the zipper.

“Red, its time.”
“No! With Rachel I went in my 6th month before I needed them!”

“Well this baby says she needs bigger clothes at 5 months. Come on, we got you some really nice maternity clothes, it is time to wear them.”
Nora sighed closing her eyes. He was right. She lifted her hand and groaned.

“FINE!”

Bo kissed her hair.

“Can I pick it out?”
She shrugged her shoulders and sighed.

“Sure.”
He seemed almost giddy as he walked into the closet.

“Sure he’s all happy, he isn’t the one who stomach is expanding.” She growled in frustration, then she realized what he was going to do. “Don’t you dare come out of there with maternity lingerie.”

She heard the sound of disappoint come from the closet. She rolled her eyes. All that man thinks about is sex, not that she minded most of the time. When you fell like a blimp, sexy isn’t what you think about. A minute later he came out with a suit.

“What you think Red?”

She looked in his face, it was so sincere. She smiled.

“It is perfect Bo.”
He got a huge smile on his face and brought the outfit over to her. He sat on the bed as she started to change.

“Red, I think we need to contact him.”
She frowned. They hadn’t heard from Blake since they told him about the baby almost a month ago.

“I don’t know Bo, if he hasn’t contacted us, doesn’t that say something?”
Bo looked at his hands.

“Maybe, but I don’t want us to feel like we were the ones who pushed a man out of his child’s life.”
She sighed.

“I know.” She looked at him. “WIll you do it? I don’t think it is a good idea for me to contact him.”

Bo took her hand and kissed it.

“Yeah, I’ll talk to him after work. It will be better for all of us if we can figure this out before the little one comes.”
She put her jacket on and leaned down and kissed him.

“I know.” She stood and spun around. “So I look okay?”
Nora breath caught when she saw the look of adoration Bo was giving her.

“You look amazing.”
She ran a hand down his face.

“You are an amazing man.”
Bo kissed her palm.

“Not always Red, but you make me a better man.”
