Chapter 20

Bo and Nora both moved back to their house. The press was still relentless trying to get the story, Lindsay settling seemed to make them even more vicious. They knew there was more to the story. Bo hired security for them, which was a good thing. They already had three attempts of people trying sneak on the property. All stopped by the security.

Bo waited on her hand and foot, all while taking care of Dean. Her favorite part of the day was when Dean first woke up and Bo would bring him to bed and the three of them would play and snuggle. The morning would end when Dean would fall asleep. Dean seemed to have no issues with accepting Nora in his life, but she and Bo often discussed what they’d tell him when he got older. Nora's heart hurt every time she thought about the heartbreak of telling Dean his mother didn’t want him. She only hoped her and Bo’s love would lessen his pain, but she doubted it.

Today she and Dean were alone, along with the nurse. Dean was just chatting up a storm. She smiled, about the only words he could form was dada and baba, the two things loved more than anything. He was showing her his awesome ability with the xylophone, she laughed at him as he got really excited when she copied his playing. He giggled and bounced, then played, then let her play. She was having so much fun, she just wished she could move around with him, but until the baby came she was pretty stationary, luckily the nurse was very helpful. The door opened, Bo came flying in.

“Hello my gorgeous family.”
Dean got really excited falling in his attempt to get to Bo, his little body crawled to him.

“dada dada”
Bo scooped him up and kissed him.

“How was your and mommy’s day? Did you two have fun?”

She smiled as Dean talked baby talk to his dad, Bo went over to her and sat down kissing her cheek.

“Wow, that sounds wonderful, so sad I missed it.”
The baby giggled then reached for Nora. She took him, he laid down on her chest, it was about his nap time, both Nora and Bo noticed he loved to sleep cuddled close to her when he went to sleep, she had a feeling she liked be next to his brother or sister. He was asleep a moment later.

“Woah, you must have really wore him out honey.”
She smiled and gently lifted Dean off her handing him to Bo. Bo took to him to his room then came back to her. He kissed her and gently ran up and down her stomach.

“So how did it go?”
“Good, I stayed on the couch he brought me his toys and we played.”
Bo pulled a piece of paper out his pocket and handed it to her. She read the paper her heart leapt.

“You're not married anymore! Oh Bo!”
She reached out to him, he moved into her arms. She started to cry, the happiness was so overwhelming. He kissed her.

“I am officially free, so is Dean. Speaking of.” He pulled a different set of papers and gave them to her. She read them. She gasped and looked at him.

“Bo are these?”
“How would you feel about being Dean’s mommy for real and adopt him.”
She began to cry harder. Bo ran his hands across her cheek and into her hair. She tried to speak but her voice kept catching. So she just nodded. Bo laughed and kissed her, then put his arm around him her.  She looked over at him, he also had tears running down his face. She put her head on his shoulder they sat there in silence, both trying to control their emotions. Nora reached over and grabbed a pen and signed the adoption paper. She laughed, it felt so wonder, that little boy was now hers.

“Red as soon as this little one shows our family will officially be complete.”
She smiled and kissed him. A loud commotion caused them both to jump. Suddenly there were flashes of light through the window. Bo cursed loudly and ran over to the window to close the blind to block the prying cameras. Just as he did Nora heard security taking the photographer down.  She could tell Bo was extremely angry.

“Bo we need to just tell our side, now that all the legal stuff is done.”
“No, we shouldn’t have to put our lives out there for the world to see.”
“Bo, if we don’t it going to get worse and this baby will be here soon. Do we really want to have to worry about this with newborn in the house.”
He sighed and shook his head.

“Fine, but I am only talking to the Banner, the rest of them can shove it.”
“Good, now call Viki and get this over with.”
Bo frowned but picked up the phone.
