Chapter 25

As they arrived home there was a person at their door.

“Who is that.”
Nora groaned.

“It’s the reporter Bo.”
She heard him curse quietly. They pulled up to the house. They got out and started to get the kids out of the car. The reporter walked over to them.

“Hi Mr and Mrs Buchanan. I am Shelia Miller with the Banner. Viki sent me over.”
Bo nodded as he lifted Dean out of the car.

“Lets just get this over. I am sure you heard, we’ve had a really bad day.”
“Yes, I’ll keep it short.”

They walked into the house.

“Here Bo, give him to me, I’ll put them both to bed.”
Bo carefully handed Dean to Nora so not to wake him. A few minutes later Nora walked back downstairs. Bo and Sheila looked up at her. Bo lifted his hand to her. She walked over and took it, he pulled her down next to him then pulled her close to him.”
“Mrs. Buchanan I was just asking Mr. Buchanan who it felt to know that Mrs. Rappaport will probably be in jail for the rest of her life.”
“It feels wonderful, that woman has done many awful things to me, but waving a gun while my children are both in the room.” Nora shook her head unable to speak.

“Your children? So you consider the son Mr. Buchanan and Mrs. Rappaport had your son?”
“I adopted him, I am his mother. She signed her rights away without a second thought, she is not his mother.”

The reporter seemed surprised, but Bo had a huge smile on his face and kissed her.

“So you two had an affair while he was a married to Mrs. Rappaport, correct.”
Both Nora and Bo squirmed a bit.

“Well, at the point that it happened I was engaged to Mrs. Rapport, I knew I couldn’t leave Lindsay because of Dean, she was unstable and I feared what she’d do if I did. I never stopped loving Nora. I was hurt for a long time and by the time I let go of the hurt, well.” Bo sighed. “I just wanted one night with her before I lost her forever. It seems fate had other plans.”
“So you two never slept together after you were married?”
“Uh, no. Once we found out Nora was having a baby, we couldn’t keep our distance any longer. It was wrong, but I will never regret being with Nora, no matter the circumstances.”
Nora fought the tears. She kissed him. He nuzzled her nose with his.
“Love you Bo.”
“Love you Red.”
They kissed again.

“So you decided to get a divorce?”
“Yes, but Nora had to leave town. We were afraid Lindsay would hold Dean over my head, which she did anyways. Luckily we finally got her to sign.”
“Did you offer her money to sign her way her rights to her son?”
“No, in fact my first offers were of shared custody, but she seemed more worried about money rather than her son. Nora adopted him the next week. Nora is his mother, not her.”
“How would you say your life is now.”
Bo laughed.

“Minus today, pretty damn perfect. I have two beautiful kids and my soulmate with me. I couldn’t ask for much more.”
The reporter smiled. She put her stuff away and thanked them before she left.

Bo closed the door.

“That wasn’t to bad.”

Nora nodded. He walked over to her and kissed her.

“I guess we have something to discus.”
Nora looked at him confused.

“What?”
“About you and I getting officially married.”

“Oh Bo. We don’t have to talk about it now. I know you love me. We both had really long and bad days. Why don’t we shelf it for the moment.”
Bo put his hand on her arm stopping her from turning.

“Red, we don’t have to talk about it. We already did our vows before I got married, lets make it official.”
“Really?”
Bo laughed.

“You didn’t think I would want too? Red I LOVED being married to you, I can’t wait to get married to you again. I was planning to ask when Leah got a little older.”
“You were?”
“Of course, I thought I wait until the doctor gave you an okay, you know so we could do a real celebration.”
Nora laughed and put her arms around his neck.

“A real celebration huh?”
He kissed her.

“We can celebrate still, just not like I would prefer.”
Nora seductively kissed him.

“Tell you what big boy, as soon as the doctor gives us the all clear. We’ll get a babysitter for a weekend and celebrate the way only we can for the entire weekend.”
Bo groaned.

“You’re killing me Red. I have such a long wait.”
Nora smiled and ran her hands down his body.

“You know Bo, just because I can’t, doesn’t me I can’t do some other fun things.”
Bo sucked in a breath. She backed up and held her hands out to him.

“Let’s go upstairs Bo and celebrate our officaliness.”
Bo laughed and took her hands.

“Red, I love you more than ever and I can’t wait till you are my official wife again.”
She smiled and guided him upstair for a celebration of their wonderful and perfect life together.
