This is a totally change to the Georgie story. Truthfully, I feel if they really wanted Nora to have an affair with Sam, it should have been during this time. Nora’s motives would have made much more sense during this time period. OH, don’t worry for my B/Ners. No Nora/Sam sex scenes will be included.

Retaliation Amiss

Chapter 1

Nora woke in a dank depressing hotel room with a horrible headache. She moaned and try to sit up, but her head hurt way too much. She looked around, she had no memory of how she had got here. She realized she was completely naked, her mind scrambled trying to remember the previous night.

She was at bar, but why? Then she felt even more pain as the memory of what she found at the lodge. Her husband, her Bo, her heart, with another woman. Nora felt her tears coming. She never thought in he’d do such a thing to her. Nora wrapped the blanket tighter around her. Her mind starting remember the night better.

She cringed remembering her dancing then she sat straight up. NO! I didn’t. The door opened at that moment confirming her worst fear.

Chapter 2

“Hey Nora, I got us some breakfast.”
Nora felt the blood drain from her face.
“Sam. Last night, did we, I mean I am only remember bits and pieces. But did we.”
She couldn’t finish the awful thought in her head. She looked at Sam. He hung his head a bit.
“Yeah, we made love.”
Nora felt a fresh wave of tears come down his face, oh God no. She felt her stomach churn. She ran to the bathroom and empty her stomach. She cried on the toilet. She felt her already broken heart shatter even more. She heard Sam walk into the room, she realized she was still naked. He covered her with a towel.
“Thank you.”

She put her head on her arms she took a deep breath.

“Sam, I.”
He interrupted her.

“Nora, I know. It’s okay, we both drank to much and you were upset about finding Bo with Georgie. I know you regret it, even though I never will. I love you.”

Nora shook her head.
“Sam I care for you, but I will never love you, not like you want me too. I am hurt and broken by what Bo did, but I still love him so much, and I am heartbroken I cheated on him.”
“Nora, he cheated on you too.”
She nodded fighting the urge to sob.

“But it doesn’t make what we did last night right. I need to leave and find Bo. I need to tell him what I did, then I think it is time for me to leave Llanview. I can’t be with Bo if he doesn’t love me, no matter how much I love him.”

“Nora, please. Maybe you should keep this to yourself. What does it matter to Bo? He cheated on you, you were heartbroken. What happen last night just happened. Or do you just want to hurt him like he hurt you.”
Nora didn’t respond, truthfully Sam was right. She did want to see his face when she told him, to get a bit of revenge. But in the end she wanted to leave this town with nothing left to say. She finally spoke.

“Sam, I do want to hurt him like he did me, but I also need to clear the air. He needs to know.”
She stood on shaky legs, wrapping the towel tight around her. “Sam can you leave me alone so I can get ready.”
“Sure, I’ll be waiting out in the bedroom.”
She slowly shook her head.
“No, leave. I’ll get a cab home.”

Sam nodded and left Nora turned on the shower and stepped in hoping she feel somewhat better afterwards.

Chapter 3

Nora dressed in her clothes from the night before. She still felt very nauseous, she wasn’t sure if it was caused from liquor, the knowledge of what she and Sam had done the night before, or from the betrayal she felt from Bo’s actions. She picked up the phone to get a cab when there was a loud knock.

“Sam I told you to go home, I’ll get a cab.”
The knocking got harder and louder. Nora sighed and put the phone down. She went to open the door.

“Sam I.”
She stopped when she saw Bo. She tried to close the door on him, but he put his body in the doorway.

“No Red, I’ve been scared to death with worry about you.”
Nora fought her tears.

“Liar, get away from me.”
“Nora why are you here in this dump?”
“I saw you Bo, you and Georgie.”
“Honey those picture of fake I have NEVER slept with Georgie, I love you so much, I’d never ever do that in a million years.”
“I didn’t need the pictures Bo, I saw you and her in the lodge as my confirmation.”
Bo looked at her shock.
“Red, I never saw Georgie last night.”
“NO! I SAW YOU KISSING HER.”
Bo reached out to her, she jerked away.

“Red, I swear. Yes I was up there, but not to sleep with her, I wanted her out of our lives and I was paying her to leave us alone. Red she has a history of doing this exact thing. She snakes into marriages and makes the wives go crazy. I swear I never touch the nut case.”
Nora shook her head.

“I saw you.”
“It wasn’t me Red I swear. Please come home and let talk about this, I can’t lose you Red. I love you so much, you are my heart.”
Nora shook her head.
“No Bo, there isn’t anything to talk about. You cheated.”

She cried harder, she was not able to tell him about Sam.

“I am leaving Bo, I am need to get away from this town and from you. I can't stay here if you don't love me."
Bo put his arm out and grabbed her.

“No! You can’t, I love you so much. PLEASE”

She looked at him her heart breaking.
“I have to Bo. I am broken.”
“You can’t leave town Red.”
“Watch me”
“Red, Georgie is dead, someone killed her, you can’t leave town.”

Chapter 4

Bo drove Nora back to Llanview. Neither of them spoke the whole way there. They pulled up the their house. Nora looked at it, she didn’t want to go in, not with all the memories in there.

“Bo I going to get some clothes and stay at the Palace.”
Bo nodded. They walked into the house. Nora ran upstairs.She heard the phone and Bo talking on it. She never stopped crying as she packed her bag and changed to other clothes.

She felt him before she saw him.

“Red I swear I didn’t sleep with Georgie.”
Nora closed her eyes to gain control of her emotions. She opened them and continued to pack.

“I saw you with my own eyes Bo. Please I need to be away from you.”
Bo stood behind her and grabbed her.
“I love you so much Nora, please don’t leave. I have Hank bringing over proof, that was him on the phone.”
“What proof Bo?”
“Proof I didn’t sleep with Georgie.”
Nora backed away from him.

“No such proof exist Bo, I know what I saw.”
The doorbell rang. Bo bolted downstairs. Nora continued to pack. She heard him running into the room.

“Here it is Red. The proof I never touch her.”

Nora turned. Bo looked at her so hopeful. She sighed and took the folder. She read the paper. Nora’s heart stopped. He was right, here it was in black and white. Proof he never slept with Georgie. Nora looked up and Bo who was smiling. Nora sobbed in joy.

“You didn’t sleep with her.”
“I didn’t sleep with her Red. I love you so much.”
“Oh Bo.”
He scooped her up and hugged her tight. Nora hugged him back. He kissed her, it soon became very passionate. They ripped at each others clothes. Nora fell back on the bed. Bo put himself gently on top of her, kissing her. He lifted up and caressed her face.
“I love you more than anything Red. I’d never betray you.  I promise.”

He bent down to kiss her. Nora stiffened as she remembered what she had done the night before. She pushed him off.
“Oh God no. Oh Bo, no.”
She felt the nausea return she ran to the bathroom. She sobbed uncontrollably on the floor, she couldn’t believe she had been so stupid. So very stupid. Bo came in.

“Honey? What is wrong. Are you sick?”
He walked over and moved her hair out of her face. Nora jerked away from him. He pulled away shocked.

“Red was is wrong you have never reject my touch like that. Do you still thinking I slept with Georgie?”
Nora shook her head, she sobbed even harder. She didn’t know how to tell him. She was going to break him.
“What is it honey?”
She calmed herself down enough to talk.
“Last night” She hiccuped “After I thought I saw you with Georgie.” she took a shaky breath. “I went to a bar and drank. A lot.”
“Oh, well that why you are probably sick. Red, why don’t I get you some water and bread. Maybe you’ll feel better.”
Bo went to stand, Nora reached out.

“There is more Bo.”
He stopped and looked at her.

“What happened?”
“Sam came to the bar, I don’t know why, he” She gulped trying to get the words out. “Bo, we, I mean,I”
Bo eyes got huge.
“Red. Did you sleep with Sam?”
Nora tears were flowing. She couldn’t speak. So she just nodded.

Bo didn’t say a word he just sat there for a long time. Nora couldn’t read his face. She reached out to touch him. He pulled away. Nora cried even harder. She could see it in his eyes. The disappointment, the disgust, the hate.

He stood and walked out of the bathroom without saying word. Nora soon heard the front door close. She sat alone in the bathroom crying. How could she have been so stupid.

A/N Yes I got lazy, didn't really want to think how to prove Bo innocent. So Hank randomly had proof. lol

Chapter 5

Nora didn’t see Bo for the rest of the week. She called his phone several times, she heard nothing. She couldn’t blame him. She knew what it was like to have the person you love beyond words betray you. She contacted Hank, he hadn’t heard from Bo either. Asa was extremely upset with her after finding out why Bo wasn't around.

“How could you be so stupid Nora. My boy loves you.”

The police had been over several times trying to find any evidence that she had killed Georgie. But Sam was her alibi along with several bikers at the bar. They started to look else where.

Nora so angry at herself. For even being that stupid. She was trying to piece together her night, she remembered kissing Sam and she even remembered begging him for sex. She felt a deep shame.

She heard a knock. She sighed and answered the door. She felt her shame return when she saw the person on the other side.

“Sam what are doing here?”
“I came to check on you. Nora, I know Bo left.”
Nora nodded.

“I told him, I haven’t seen him since.”
“Can I come in?”
“I don’t think that is a good idea.”
“Nora I have some information on Georgie I think you need.”
She sighed and let him in.

He handed her some papers. She read them, there weren't really anything.
“Sam? What is so important in this?”
She turned and he was right next to her. She jumped a bit. He grabbed and kissed her. Nora pushed him away. She flew back as he let her go. She was about to yell at him when she notice someone at the door entrance.
“Bo! Where have you been. I was so worried.”
Bo didn’t say a word. He kept his eyes on Sam. Nora tried to touch him, he pulled away. She blinked away tears.

“Bo, I am glad your home. Come in. Sam was leaving.”

Bo finally spoke.
“No, stay Sam. I just was checking on my house. Finding my wife with her lover in a kiss wasn’t something I expect.”
“Bo, NO! He kissed me, I pushed him away. Bo I love you. Please come inside we need to talk.”
“No, that is okay. I just wanted you to know I was okay. I know you’ve been calling Pa non stop.”
He pulled out some papers and handed them to Nora. She couldn’t stop the tears.

“No, please Bo.”
“Nora it is over. Please take the papers.”
She shook her head refusing them. He grabbed her hand and forced her to take them. He turned to leave.

“I LOVE YOU BO!”

She leaned against the door and slid to floor crying. She gripped the papers he handed her. She felt Sam pull them out of her hands.

“Nora they're divorce papers.”

Nora felt physical pain as her heart ripped apart. Her life was falling apart.

Chapter 6

Nora didn’t leave her house for three days. She just kept reading the divorce papers over and over. Her heart broke a little more every time she read them. How did her life get to this? She cheated on her soul mate, breaking his heart and hers at the same time. How could she ever believe Bo would betray her. Sam kept coming around, she didn’t want anything to do with him.

Nora tried to call Bo several times. He never answered. She felt herself getting more and more depressed. Rachel came by several times a day, trying to get her mother out of the house.

Nora came down one morning feeling extremely horrible. She heard the doorbell. She slowly got the door and opened it.

“Bo!”
He looked her up and down, his face looked very concerned.
“Nora, you look awful.”
“Well, Bo. I cheated on my husband that I love more than anything because I was upset that I thought he had cheated on me. Only to find out he never cheated on me. Then my husband disappeared only to show up with divorce papers. So yeah I feel and look like shit.”

She walked into the house.

“I haven’t signed the papers yet, if that what you are here about.”

Bo followed.

“I am here about that. Nora you can’t put this off for long.”
She turned tears in her eyes.

“How can you let go so fast? Even when I thought you slept with Georgie. I thought I’d leave you, but the thought was so painful I broke me even more. Bo I was so stupid and drunk. I love you so much. Please, PLEASE! Don’t do this. We can go to counseling, anything. This marriage is everything to me.”
Bo walked to the other side of the room.
“Nora do you love Sam?”
“WHAT! NO! At the moment I am pissed at him, he won’t leave me alone.”
Bo nodded.
“Did you sleep with him to get back at me.”
Nora blinked to fight the tears.

“I don’t know Bo. Probably. I was so drunk and hurt. I really have no memory of the night. I remember bits a pieces, but not enough to tell if I did it just to hurt you. I just knew I loved you and I thought you had been having a long time affair with my secretary.”

Bo looked at her with gentle eyes.
“I love you so much Red, when you disappeared I was so scared. I thought someone might of hurt you. Then I found you in that hotel and you thought I slept with Georgie. God that psycho just came in and ripped us apart.”
He got quiet.
“Bo, do you still love me?”
“Yes, very much.”
“I love you too, please lets try to work it out.”

She stood to walk towards him. She felt lightheaded and tried to sit down, but the room started to spin.

“Red?”
Nora looked at Bo and her world started to grow dim.

Chapter 7

Nora heard beeping as she woke, she slowly opened her eyes. Bo was over her. He smiled.

“Welcome back Red.”
She tried to speak, but her mouth and throat was dry. Bo must of sensed it because he gave her a cup with a straw. She took a few sips. Bo stroked her hair. She sighed his touch felt so wonderful.

“You feeling okay?”
She nodded. He kissed her forehead.

“You scared me honey.”
“Sorry. What happened?”
“You passed out at home. I brought you right to the hospital.”

“Do they know why?”
“Nobody has come in with the results. Nora, I am sorry. I’ve been so stubborn about this. I want us, I want to make this work.”
Nora felt her her spirits lift. She smiled at him.

“Really? Oh Bo! Thank you.”
She hugged him and kissed him. He held her close and she sighed. She was so happy to be back in his arms.

She heard a knock, the separated a bit. Bo moved his hand to hers and held them. The doctor came in, with a smile.

“Hello Nora, how you feeling.”
“Better, much better.”
“That is great, I have your results in. Is it okay to review them with you husband here?”
Nora smiled and stroked Bo’s face. He kissed her palm.

“Yes, very okay.”
“Nora you’re pregnant”
Nora turned to her shocked.
“What, but I am on  birth control.”
“It has been known to fail, I’d say you are around two or three weeks along.”
Nora heart dropped when she heard the timeline, she felt Bo’s hand let go of hers. She finally thanked the doctor. Who left.

She looked over at Bo who was sitting in a chair, obviously trying to fight tears. Nora started to cry hard. Bo looked up, his tears started too. He got up, kissed her forehead. Then he left the room. Nora sobbed. She prayed that this child was Bo’s and not Sam’s.

Chapter 8

Nora was released. Bo took her home. He followed her into the house. Neither would bring up the elephant in the room. Nora sat on the couch, Bo went to the kitchen. A few minutes later he came back with some food and drink. He handed them to her.

“You need to eat to make sure you and the baby are okay.”
She smiled sadly and took what he gave her. He sat next her. He put his arms around and pulled her to him tight.
“I love you Red, we’ll figure this out.”
She nodded and nuzzled his face.
“I love you too Bo. So much.”

He sighed and kissed her. She returned the kiss with all the passion she felt for him. He moaned and pushed her gently down on the couch. Nora gasped in his mouth when his hand wandered under her shirt and caressed her breast. Nora began to undress him. Suddenly they both stopped. Nora sighed. Bo put his forehead on hers.

“Red.”
“I know, we aren’t ready for this yet.”
He kissed her and pulled away, lifting her up with him.

“Bo, I have to tell Sam.”

She felt Bo stiffen.

“Can it wait Red? I just want to have this be ours for a little bit before others become involved.”

She sighed. She kissed him on the chin.

“Yes it can wait.”

“What are we going to do Red.”
Nora shook her head.

“I don’t know, I am so angry at myself for getting into this mess.”

He nuzzled her.

“I love you Red, I want this baby, even if turns out to be Sam’s.”
“Bo, you do know that if it is Sam’s baby we have to deal with Sam for many years to come. Do you think you will be able to handle that?”
“I will have too, if I want you and I want our baby, I will deal with him. But if he tries to touch you ever again I’ll punch him.”

Nora smiled at him.

“I am totally okay with that.”

“Good. Where should we start Red? I mean. I am not going to lie, I still angry and hurt about what happened between you and Sam. I am also betting you are angry about Georgie.”
Nora nodded.

“Bo, I think we need to see a professional, we have big issues that we need help with.”
“You’re probably right. I’ll talk to Viki see if she knows anyone that would be good and discrete.”
“Thank you Bo. I am so sorry for what I did, I love you so much. I don’t know what I would do without you.”
He hugged her close.

“I am sorry to honey, sorry for Georgie, I am sorry that you felt you had to drink your troubles away. That it gave Sam the opportunity to get you in bed. I am so angry that he took advantage of that.”
“Bo we were both drunk.”
“Red, he found you drunk and instead of taking care of you he got smashed too! You can’t tell me he didn’t take advantage of you!”

Nora sighed and leaned into him. She knew that had a long road ahead of them.

 

Chapter 9

The next month was painful for both Bo and Nora. They started counseling, both had lots of anger and resent. Nora didn’t realize how bad it was between them until they started to talk. She feared for her marriage. She knew he loved her, but he was so angry with her, she also started to worry he was resenting her for being pregnant, forcing him to stay with her. She hadn’t voice that yet, she wasn’t ready to hear his answer. Her morning sickness was horrendous, but Bo sat next to her in the bathroom every morning rubbing her back and putting a wash cloth on her neck.

This morning Nora sat at the toilet, it was so bad she was crying. Bo soothed her.
“I love you Red, I love our baby.”

She cried harder.

“Hey, honey don’t. Shhhh. You need calm down okay? This isn’t good for you or the baby.”

She sniffed and calmed down. She decided to voice her concern.
“Bo, I am scared.”
“You’ll be fine honey, the baby will fine.”
Nora shook her head.
“Not for the baby Bo, for us. Bo are you resentful of for me having of this baby?”
Bo jerked up.
“Where did that come from Red? Of course not. I love this child.”
“Bo you have such anger, it scares me.”
“Nora I swear the anger I have is not towards you having this baby. But I do have some towards you for other things, I am dealing with that anger, but most of my anger I have is towards myself.”
She looked up at him confused.

“Yourself? Bo you didn’t do anything, Georgie was to blame for that.”
Bo nodded.

“Yes she was, but I let her do it. I should have told you right away. None of this would have happened if I had just told you. But I thought I was protecting you. I was so stupid.”
Nora leaned on him, putting her head on his chest so she could hear his heart. He wrapped his arms around her.

“I love you so much Red. I’d be lost without you.”

They sat there on the bathroom floor embracing each other. For the first time since this started Nora felt a bit a peace in herself. Maybe they would make it.

Chapter 10

Nora sat in her office. She was so nervous. She and Bo decided that it was time to tell Sam. She had made it through the first trimester and they felt they need to inform people, and Sam was first on the list since he was a possible father. Nora prayed everyday that this baby was her husband’s. Sam obsession with her had gotten worse since that horrible night. Bo finally threaten to beat Sam if he didn’t leave her alone. Nora was relieved when that seemed to keep him at bay for a little while. In the past week he started showing up again more often. She was so tired of it, she just wanted to get him out her life. But she had a baby growing inside her that may tie her to him forever. The door opened, Bo came flying in. He kissed her.
“You ready for this Red?”
“No, I don’t want him our lives Bo.”
He sighed and nodded in agreement.
“I know sweetheart, but he has the right to know.”
She hugged Bo and held him very tight to her. He kissed her. She heard a knock, she didn’t let go of Bo, but called Sam into the office.
Sam walked in the office and stopped, he looked a bit annoyed that Bo was there with his arms around Nora. Nora figured he thought he’d get her alone.
“Oh, Hi Bo. I was just here for a meeting with Nora.”
Bo nodded.

“Yes, it actually a meeting for all three of us. We need to talk.”

“Is this about the night Nora and I made love?”
Nora felt Bo stiffen and hold her tighter.

“Yes, please have a seat.”
Nora and Bo sat down across from Sam. Bo held her close.

“So? What you want details?”
“Damn it Rappaport shut up. You slept with my wife when she was drunk and angry. You know she has no memory of it even happening. So don’t feel so smug. You took advantage of her state.”

“Are you saying I raped her? She was very willing.”
“Shut up both of you. Sam I have no memory of that night, but I was drunk. You found me and decided to drink too, you should have taken me home. But that is not why we called this meeting.”
Sam looked them with anger.

“Then why?”
She felt Bo hold her closer.

“Sam, I am pregnant and you might be the father.”
Sam sat in silence for a bit.
“You are sure?

“Yes we are very sure.”
“How long have you known.”
Nora sighed.

“About two weeks after we were together.”
“And you are just telling me NOW.”
Bo stood up.

“Yes, if you have a problem with that you and I can talk outside.”
Sam quieted.
“Fine, I am just shocked. So what happens now?”

Nora looked at him.

“Nothing right now. I have 6 months till this baby comes. You will have nothing in this for now. Once the baby is born, we’ll do DNA. If the baby is yours, we’ll figure out a custody plan. If the baby is Bo’s you will never see me again.”
“Nora, please. I can help you during this pregnancy.”
“She doesn’t need your help, I am here and giving her the support she needs.”

Nora caressed his face and kissed his cheek.
“Yes he is. Sam please just let me deal with pregnancy how I want to. I already have stress, I really don’t want you adding to it.”
“I wouldn’t.”
“Yes Sam you would, just your presence makes me feel the shame of what happened. I don’t need that, I need to focus on the baby.”

Sam stood obviously not happy with this decision.

“I’ll take you to court.”
“For what Sam? Keeping you away from my body? The baby isn’t here, you have no say right now. Especially since we don’t know if you are the father.”
Sam looked over at them.

“Fine, I’ll stay away, but I want monthly reports on the baby’s health.”
“Ok Sam, but you won’t be seeing Nora. You’ll come to me and I will tell you how the baby is doing.”
Sam jaw was clenched.
“FINE!”
Sam left. Nora let out a breath she was holding. Bo kissed her.

“The worst is over Red, he knows.”
She nodded.

“I hope he doesn’t try anything stupid. Bo, he was so angry.”

“He won’t get anywhere. I’ll make sure of it.”

Nora kissed him hoping he was right.

Chapter 11

Nora and Bo sat in their therapist office. While it had been going overall well, Nora felt like there was still something missing. She didn’t feel whole, she always felt whole when she was Bo. Since Georgie and Sam, that hadn’t been the case. Nora was tired of it, she wanted her husband back, she wanted them back.

“I don’t know what you want from me Red, I am here I think we are doing well.”
“Oh come on Bo, you feel it too don’t you? We aren’t there, there is something still blocking us from being one again.”
Bo raised his hands in annoyance.
“I love you, you know I do.”
“Then why haven’t we made love yet Bo? It has been nearly 6 months since we made love. That has never been a problem with us. Even when we were in knock down drag out fights, we never had an issue connecting emotionally or physically.”
“Nora, I, don’t want to tell you.”
Nora fought her tears and anger.
“You need to Bo, I want our connection back. I miss you, I miss us.”
Bo ran his hands through his hair.

“Because every time I really touch you I think of Sam. I wonder how he touched you, I wondered if you whispered his name, I wonder.” Bo took a deep breath. “I wonder if he connected to you as deep as I do when I make love to you. I wonder if he made you happier, I wonder if he created life with my soulmate.”
Nora lost her fight with her emotions.

“Oh Bo. I am so sorry. I wish had told me so long ago.”
She moved and sat next him putting his face in his hands looking in eyes.

“No one, I mean no one can ever have the same connection as you do with me. Even if he is this child’s biological father. Bo, you are will be the baby’s father in every other way, because you are my heart. I can’t live without you.”
Bo cried and pulled her to him.

“I love you so much Red. I am so scared I’ll lose you.”
“That will never happen.”
They kissed. The therapist spoke up.

“I think this was a wonderful session. You two just need to keep talking okay. I’ll see you next week.”

Bo took her hand and lead them out to their car. They chatted as they drove home. They kept it light, they always did after a heavy session like that. They got home Nora ran out of the car, her bladder was screaming. She could hear Bo laughing as she ran as fast as her body would let her.

She came back into the living room. Bo was on the couch just sitting there.
“Hey, what you thinking about?”
“You. About how much I love you. But you were right, I’ve had a wall up since I found out about Sam. I am sorry honey.”
“It’s okay Bo, I did an awful thing, I don’t blame you. But we are working on it. That is all I care about.”
Bo pulled her to him and kissed her passionately. She moaned, they both started to remove their clothing. Bo kissed down her body. He stopped at her slightly rounded stomach. He rubbed it and kissed it. Nora sighed at the sensation. Bo stood and pulled her up and led them to their bedroom. Nora smiled, she felt whole for the first time in months.

Chapter 12

Nora was in her last six weeks of the pregnancy. She and Bo had been growing closer and stronger as the months had gone by. Bo had been doing an excellent job of keeping Sam away from her. She was thankful, she couldn’t handle him during this pregnancy.

Nora took a small nap. She felt a hand brush her face. She smiled and looked up. She jumped, it was Sam.

“What are doing here Sam? I told you I didn’t want you around while I was pregnant. Please leave.”

“Oh come on Nora. I need to see you. I’ve always dreamed about you carrying my child. Now look at you. You are even more beautiful than I imagined”
“First of all, we don’t know it is your baby. Second, I am not comfortable being with you alone. Please leave.”
“Oh come Nora. What we alone so you afraid you won’t be able resist me? Maybe a repeat performance.”
“Get over yourself. I can’t even remember.”
“Still no memory, that is a shame because it was amazing.”
“Shut up.” Nora close her eyes, she could see him kissing her. She try to shake the memories. Then all sudden her memory continued. She gasped. She’s never been able to remember past their kiss.
“What? You remembering how good I made you feel.”
She shook her head. She remembered. She remembered. He kissed her. She, she thought it was Bo. She realized it wasn’t Bo. She looked at Sam with wide eyes.

“I never slept with you.”
Sam turned red.

“Of course you did, it was wonderful.”
“No, I am remember. I pushed you away when I realized you weren’t Bo! Sam! I never slept with you! You let me think that. I feel asleep, but you were still in the room. I remember waking up in the morning. Did you undress me?”
“Nora I think you are confused.”
“No! I remember. I never slept with you! I was faithful.” She began to cry with happiness. “This baby is BO’s!”

“Nora, I love you, we made love.”
“No we didn’t. I have to find Bo.”

Sam jumped in front of her.

“Nora don’t. You just aren’t remembering right. This baby is mine.”
“No it isn’t Sam please let me through.”
“No! I love you Nora, This baby is mine. We will be together once you realize that.”
“What! Sam even if I had slept with and this baby was yours, I wouldn’t be with you. I love Bo. You know that.”
Nora was a little frighten with how Sam was behaving. He started to pace and talk to himself. Nora tried to leave again. Sam ran in front her.

“Nora hear me out. Please.”
“Sam why would I do that. I love Bo and I am more than pissed that you made me believe that I had slept with you.”

“I had too! Even though that son of bitch cheated on you, you still loved him! It wasn’t fair. Nora I’d never hurt you! Why can’t you love me?”
“Sam, you hurt me! You made me think I cheated on my husband. I can’t love you because Bo has my heart. He always will, Ow.”
Nora grabbed her back. She felt a contraction. She looked at Sam in shock, it was too early.
“What? What is it?”
“I just had a contraction. Sam please let me through I need to go the doctor, it is too early.”

“No.”
“SAM! What are going to do keep me here as I give birth to a premature baby? Come on Sam, you wouldn’t hurt me or my baby.”

Sam looked as though he was struggling with an answer.

“Fine, I’ll take you.”
“NO! I will call my husband and he will take me.”
Sam ran his hands through his hair.

“Ok, but I am going to stay til Bo get here, just in case.”
“Fine, please hand me the phone.”
Sam reluctantly handed her the phone. Nora sighed a relief as she called Bo.

Chapter 13

Nora sat on the couch waiting for Bo. Luckily she had only had other one contraction, if she got there fast enough they might be able to stop it. She heard Bo’s car pull up. She walked towards the door, Sam following her. The door flew open before she reached it.

“NORA! Honey are you okay?”
“Yes, I just need to see the doctor.”
“How many contractions have you had how far apart.”
“Bo! Slow down. I’ve only had two they were a half hour apart. We need to go, they might be able to stop it, it is too soon.”
Bo nodded and grabbed her hand kissing it. He then noticed Sam.

“What is he doing here?”
“I’ll tell you when we get done at the doctors. It is a long story.”
Bo helped her to the car. Nora laughed, his was so nervous. He began to drive, he put on siren. Nora put a hand out and stroked his face.

“Bo, slow down. It’s ok, I’m ok, the baby is ok.”
Bo looked over her and took a deep breath. His driving slowed a bit. He got her to the hospital in ten minutes. Helping her out of the car she felt another contraction hit. He held her tight as she took deep breaths.

He got her in and ran up to the receptionist. A minute later 2 nurses came to her with a wheelchair.

“Mrs. Buchanan we are going to take you to the doctor right now.”
Bo took her hand and held it tight as they headed to the room. The nurses and Bo helped her onto the bed. The doctor come in.

“How you doing Nora.”
“Ok, I am hoping this false labor.”
“Lets see.”
Nora felt Bo brushing her hair off her face. She looked up, he looked so scared. She squeezed his hand, he looked at her. She gave him a small comforting smile. He relaxed a bit and kiss her.
“Well Nora this is the real deal. Unfortunately this is a bit early. We’ll be monitoring you and baby the whole time. Everything will fine.”
“Ok, Thank you doctor.”
“You have some time till the baby comes. So try to relax a bit.”
The doctor left. Nora sat up with the help of Bo.

She looked over at Bo. Her heart fluttered, he was so adorable when he was worried.

“Bo, I have something to tell you.”
“Red? What is wrong.”
“Oh Bo, nothing. Everything is perfect. Bo, I found something out when Sam was at our house today.”
Bo looked at her confused.

“Bo, I remembered that night, that night in the motel.” She smiled widely “Bo I never slept with him. Sam and I never had sex. I kissed him because i thought it was you, when I realized it wasn’t you I pushed him away.”
Bo sat in stunned silence.

“Bo?”
“Are you sure.”
“Yes, very. Bo this is your baby.”
Bo let out a huge breath and put his hands over his face. Then she heard him start to cry.

“Bo? Are you okay?”
He grabbed her and kissed her hard.
“YES! NORA WE ARE HAVING A BABY!”
Nora laughed, she felt all the stress and fear she had felt in the past 8 months just disappear.

“Yes we are.”

Bo hugged her tight the sat like for several minutes, until a contraction hit her.

The nurse came in with a monitor for the baby. She laid back and let her hook everything up. It started up with a bunch of beeping. The nurse looked at the machine confused. Bo must of noticed too.

“Is everything ok?”
“Just a minute let me get the doctor, there appears to be something wrong with the machine.”
The nurse left. Bo kissed her forehead.

The doctor came in, she looked at the heart monitor. She laughed a bit

“Nora did we ever do a ultrasound?”
“No.”
“Well, you about to get a surprise. Mr. Buchanan you may want to sit down.”
Nora got really nervous. Bo squeezed her hand as he sat down.

“You’re having twins.”

Nora and Bo both sat there without saying a word. The doctors laughed again.

“I’ll give you two some privacy”
She left.

Bo looked at her. His face was white.
“Twins? As in two? Oh Red, are we ready for this?”
Nora laughed.

“No I don’t think we are, but they are coming in a few hours.”
Bo remain in his chair still stunned. Nora ran a hand through his hair.

“Bo, we are having babies, we love each other deeply, it will be okay.”
He took her hand and kissed it.

“You are right, I love you Red. I am ready for our babies.”

Chapter 14

Ten hours later Bo and Nora were holding their twins. Both a little small, but very healthy. Nora kissed the top of her son’s head. Bo was laying next her with their daughter in his arms.
“I don’t know Red, they don’t really look a like. She looks like you, he well, poor boy he looks like Clint.”
Nora laughed.
“He does doesn’t he. So you have you name ready for him?”
“Yep.”
“So what is our son’s name?”
“Clint Andrew, as soon as I saw him I knew he had to have my brother’s name. Then I thought I’d name him after his brother”
Nora kissed Bo.

“It’s a perfect name.”
“And our daughter, Red what did you name her?”
“Renee Selma, named after the grandmothers that are living.”
Bo smiled at her.

“Renee will be so happy.”

“I know. Well Bo, you ready for no sleep.”
“Oh, I am not sure. We’ll be zombies for the next 18 years.”

She giggled.

“But Red, I think they’ll be worth it.”
“Me too, Bo.”
Bo kissed her. The sat staring at their beautiful children. Their lives forever changed, but a changed for all the better.
