Lost and Found Chapter 11

Chapter 11

Nora’s head snapped up and looked towards her house. There he was standing at her front door, the man she had been trying to forget in the past year.

“Umm yeah it is.”
Matthew smiled really big.

“BO! Over here!”
Nora heart instantly began to beat faster as he turned. His face look worn as they approached. Matthew ran to Bo, Bo picked him and hugged him close. Nora felt a great deal of concern, Bo obviously had something bothering him.

“Bo?”
Bo looked at her with tired eyes, he put Mathew down.

“Hey Red, can I come in?”
“Sure.”
Nora walked by him and opened her door, Matthew ran in asking Bo all sorts of questions. Bo answered quietly. Nora concern was growing by the second.

“Matthew honey? Why don’t you go to Robbie’s house? He was expecting you after the parade.”
“But mom, I want to talk to Bo.”
“I know, but you promised Robbie.”
Matthew frowned.

“Ok, Bo will be here when I get back?”
“I will try Matthew.”
Matthew ran over and hugged Bo, then Nora. He left the house, Nora watched Matthew until he went into Robbie’s house. She turned towards Bo.

“Bo what is it? What is wrong?”
Bo gave her a sad little smile.

“Pa died.”
Nora felt the immense sadness of Asa’s loss hit her.

“Oh Bo, I am so sorry.”
Nora put her arms around him tight, Bo held her tight.

“Red I’ve been so stupid. About you and Matthew, about Pa. We got into a huge fight right before he died. He just wanted me to go back to you, to love you, to raise Matthew as my own. I was too stubborn, to prideful. I should have just listened.”
Nora didn’t say anything she just let him pour his heart out as they held each other tight. Bo buried his face into the crook of her neck.

“I love you Red, I love Matthew, I should have never ever let you two go, please please forgive me.”
Nora release a sob, Bo was telling her things she wanted to hear so long ago. She kissed his hair.

“I love you too Bo, I forgave you a long time ago.”
She felt Bo relax a bit. He lifted his head up a bit, he looked her in the eyes. Nora sighed as she saw the love in them. She had missed that look. Bo pulled her face to him, the kissed. It was a strong passionate kiss. They jumped apart when there was a knock on the door. Both shyly smiled at each other.

“I better get that.”

Bo nodded. Nora took a deep breath and ran her hands through her hair to get some composure. She answered the door to Tom.

“Hey Nora, got off of work thought I’d stop by and see how the parade was, talk to Matthew.”
Nora laughed.
“It was great, but Matthew is over a Robbie’s otherwise I am sure he’d be telling you everything you need to know.”
“Ah, well can I come in for a bit? I feel like we never get to hang out much anymore, between my work and yours. I miss our friendship.”
Nora smiled and looked behind her. She whispered.

“Actually I have someone here.”
Tom’s eyebrows went up.

“Anybody I should know, you know I have to approve anybody you're dating!”
Nora laughed.

“Well it’s Bo.”
“WHAT!”
“Shhh.”
“Fine, but I want more story later.”
“Yeah yeah, leave please!”
Tom laughed and waved as he walked away. Nora closed the door and walked back in the living room.

“Sorry about that.”
“Is that your boyfriend?”
Nora looked a little shocked.

“Oh NO! I mean we dated for about two seconds, but that was it. We are friends, very good friends, but we realized instantly we were not meant to be in a relationship. We’d kill each other.”

Nora could see Bo visibly relaxed. He walked over to her and kissed her again. Nora kissed him back, but then gently pushed him away.

“Bo we need to talk and I don’t think you should be rushing into this after losing Asa like this.”

Bo nodded.

“Yes we need to talk, but Asa’s death just opened my eyes to how stupid I’ve been. I know this isn’t the grief talking.”
“Bo, last year.”
Bo put his hand up.

“Nora you may not believe this, but since our fight last year, I’ve changed. I knew I had too, you were right. I shouldn’t have been treating women like that, even though I was hurting that wasn’t the way to deal with the pain.  I stopped sleeping around. I haven’t even dated anyone since I last

saw you.”
Nora felt tears attempting to spill.

“Really?”
Bo sighed.

“Red, it was wrong of me to say you broke me. Yes it hurt when I found out about Sam, but I have no to blame but myself for my behavior. I am sorry I said those things to you.”
She smiled.

“So, where do we go from here?”
“How about a date? The three of us can go to dinner, then afterwards you and I can talk.”
“That sounds perfect Bo.”

Bo walked over and ran his hand through her hair, pulling her to him.

“I love you Red.”
He kissed her again, Nora put her hands in his hair and kissed him back, this time she let all of her passions out. Bo gently lowered them to the couch as the kissing grew more passionate. Nora gasped as his hands found their way under her shirt. Nora reach between intent on removing his shirt. Their passions came to an abrupt end when they heard the door open. Nora scrambled off the couch, running her hair through as her son came flying into the room.
“MOMMY I AM HOME.”

She sighed and smiled opening her arms. Matthew flew into them.

“Bo! You are still here.”

“I sure am bud. In fact I am going to take you and your mom out for dinner.”
“Yeah, I want Pizza!”
“Then Pizza you shall have.”

“YES!”
“Well, why don’t Matthew and I change real quick and then we can go out pizza.”
Nora looked over to Bo who was giving her his Bo Buchanan smile that caused her heart to skip a beat.

“That would be great.”

Matthew ran up to his room, Nora walked over to Bo and caressed his face, then went upstairs. Once she got to her room she let out a huge breath. She felt extremely nervous, but extremely happy. She began to change, she heard Matthew heading back downstairs. As she was finishing she heard Matthew call for her to hurry. She smiled and head back down.
