Chapter 20

Nora walked back into Asa’s house. She smiled, while it still felt like Asa’s, but she was happy that she got it back for her son’s sake, this was to be his when he got older. She sighed as Bo came behind her and wrapped his arms around her kissing the back of her neck.

“Good be home?”
“Yeah, Matthew all settled?”
“Yes, he was very happy to be back in his room.”

Nora turned in his arms and kissed him gently.

“How are you doing? With the David thing?”
“I am still in shock Red, I mean I barely remember his mother. Plus, well he is David.”
Nora laughed.

“Yeah, but he is your son.”
Bo nodded.

“I honestly don’t know what to think Red. Do we just accept him, allowing to be in our lives?” Bo looked upstairs. “In our son’s life? He has pulled so many cons in his life, I don’t want him hurting Matthew.”

Nora put her arms around his neck.

“I don’t know Bo, I’ll support you no matter what your choice. But I will say this, he seemed genuinely please to be your son and he told Dorian he wants to be in your life.”

Bo nuzzled her.

“You know what, let’s talk about this later, why don’t you and I go find our room and celebrate being back in the house and in our lives.”
She giggled as he grabbed her and and started to run towards the stairs.

“Wait! Bo!”
Bo stopped.

“What?”
“The video.” Bo’s face grew dark. “Clint has that video and probably so does Dorian.”
“Red, I’ll will get all copies of that, we can use the justice system.”
“Bo, you know as well as I do that you can’t stop this if Clint decides to release it, he probably made several copies.”

Bo face turned angry.

“I can’t believe this, he already did the damage with that damn picture.”
“Not the damage he wanted, he wants us to be apart.”
“That video isn’t going to break us up.”
“I know, but it will humiliate us, which is what he wants.”
“It won’t humiliate me.” Bo grabbed her face and pulled her to him. “Red when we make love it is a beautiful thing. I don’t care if we were drunk and that you with Clint, you can’t tell me that video doesn’t show anything but how beautiful we are together.”
“Bo we are beautiful together, but I have no desire for my friends, family, and coworkers to know what we look like making love. Not to mention our son’s classmates.”

Bo growled.

“That is what pisses me off. This hurts Matthew more than anyone.”

“I know Bo, what are we going to do?”
Bo held her tight.

“First I am going to make love to you. Then I am going to see my brother and try to get him to see how much he’ll hurt Matthew, I hope that can reach him.”

“I hope you can.”
Bo let go of her and took her hand and guided her towards the stair.

“Now, Ms. Hanen why don’t you show me this lovely house of yours. Let’s start with your bedroom.”
Nora smiled and followed him.

“With pleasure Mr. Buchanan.”
