Chapter 7

Bo sat his desk reading a report from one of his officers. He wasn’t doing a great job. It was only Wednesday and he was missing Nora so much. He sighed how could a women he met a week ago be so deep in his heart already? They’ve only been on two dates, amazing dates, but still. He need to slow down. There was knock that brought him back to work.

“Come in.”
He sighed as the person walked in.

“Jennifer.”
“Hi Bo. I need to talk to you about something very important.”
He ran his hands down his face.

“What?”
“Your girlfriend.”
Bo stood up and moved in front of Jennifer.

“Jennifer, Nora and are dating, she isn’t my girlfriend...yet. I honestly have no desire to hear what you have to say.”
He walked over to his door and opened it.

“Even if I have proof she is with another man.”
Bo sighed.

“Jennifer, even if that is true. So what? We haven’t made any promises to each other, like I said we are just dating right now.”
Jennifer’s face turned red.

“Dating? That is why you two spent two hours on your couch dry humping. That seems more than dating to me.”
Bo felt his spine straighten, he slammed his door shut. He felt anger like he had never felt before, he slowly approached Jennifer. Jennifer’s eyes got huge, realizing what she had just blurted out.

“How do you know about that?”
Jennifer remain silent as Bo got closer. He put his face right next to hers and hit his desk hard causing her to jump.

“Are you spying on me?”
She shook her head.

“Then how did you know about Nora and I, that is very personal and intimate knowledge that only Nora and I know about. Have you been following me?”
She still didn’t answer.

“Ok you are going to listen very carefully to me. You will never come near me or Nora ever again. If you do I’ll arrest you. Even for some reason Nora I don’t end up together and you try to contact her, I’ll arrest you so fast you won’t know what hit you. After you leave here, you will only return if you have official police business. I am going to tell all my officers that you are banned otherwise and they’ll watch Nora also.”
Bo walked back to his door and opened it.

“Get. OUT!”

Jennifer glared, she slammed a file down on his desk and left. Bo slammed the door behind her. He was so angry, how dare she! He looked at his desk and saw the file. He picked it up and started to throw it away something fell out. Bo quickly picked it up, his heart stopped when he saw what the picture. Nora with another man in a very intimate way. He felt his heart hurt. He opened the file there were several pictures of the same thing. He quickly closed the file unable to look them. He closed his eyes and took several breaths. He remembered what he had told Jennifer, it wasn’t like he and Nora were committed to each other.

He slammed his fist against the wall. How could this hurt so much, he just met her. He closed his eyes, it would be another two day before he could even talk her. He took a deep breath. Two days.
