Chapter 14

She anxiously waited for Bo to return from dropping Matthew off at school. She had called into work already, they had told her that the phone was ringing like crazy. Renee had already promised her that the Palace employees would respect their privacy.

The door finally opened. Bo walked in, his face looked concerned. She got scared.

“That bad?”
Bo looked up.

“Matthew made it okay, his buddies came right my car and surrounded him.”
“Then why do you look so concerned?”
He sighed.

“I guess I just realizing how much my actions have hurt both you and Matthew.”
She took his hands.

“Oh Bo, I don’t blame you for leaving me, I hurt you very much.”
“Yes you did, but I left you alone with our son.” Nora went argue. “It doesn’t matter who we thought his father was. I should have been in his life.”
“Bo if you had know you would have been there. We can’t take back our mistakes, trust me I wish I could change everything about what happened, but we can’t. We need to let them go. Bo if we do, if we really let go, we can move on and be together.”

Bo smiled at her.

“You are right.” He kissed her hands. “Red we can do this together. Move on, be happy together.”
“Are you sure you are ready?”
“Yes, Red, l am ready. I am going to fight for us.”
Nora heart speed up and she smiled.

“Bo, do you know how long I have wait for this?”
Bo looked down.

“Years. I’m so sorry Red.”
Nora put her hands under his chin and lifted his face.

“Bo Buchanan I love you.”

He smiled grabbing her waist and pulling her to him.

“And I love you.”
He kissed her gently at first, it didn’t take long for the kiss to grow very passionate. She gasped as he quickly moved her body under his on the couch. His hands quickly moving under her shirt. She arched as he caressed her body.They both jumped when someone knocked on her door. 

Bo sighed and kissed her neck then her mouth before he stood up. Nora sat up and fixed her clothes. Bo was already looking through the peephole when she stood. She heard Bo curse.

“Who is it?”

“My brother.”
“Don’t answer it.”
Clint knocked even louder.

“Open the damn door Nora, I know you are there. It’s about David.”
Nora and Bo both looked at each, silently agreeing to let him in. Bo finally opened the door. Clint’s face harden instantly when he saw his brother. He looked over at Nora then at Bo, he quickly walked in without saying a word. Bo closed the door.

“Well?”
Clint looked her up and down.

“So you and Bo were obviously just having sex.”
Nora stared at him in shock and outrage.

Bo growled.

“Shut up Clint.”
Clint gave her a nasty grin.

“What little brother? You don’t like remembering I know what she looks like aroused.” Clint leered at her. “I have seen that face many many times. Got to admit it is the one thing I am going to miss, after all she is great in the sack. I guess that to be expected considering how many men she has been with.”
Bo grabbed his brother and slammed against the wall.

“SHUT UP!”
Clint chuckled.

“Now now little brother. I didn’t come here to reminisce about having sex with Nora. Which was great, but about our apparent little brother.”

Nora touched his back.

“Bo let him go. Faster he talks the sooner he can leave.”

Bo let him go.

“What is it Clint?”
“We got the subpoena for the DNA test. They need both of us to give samples.”
“Fine, when?”
“Right away.”
“NOW!”
“Yes, sorry if that interrupts your plans to get her in bed, but I am sure she’ll be more than willing later too.”
“CIint you are pig.”
“Better than a whore.”
“HEY! You may be angry, but that is the mother of my son and your nephew. Treat her with some respect.”
“You coming to the hospital?”
“We’ll be there.”
Clint gave one last glare to Nora, then Bo and left. Nora shook her head.

“Your brother is an ass.”
“Yes he is.”
Bo pulled her to him and kissed her.

“I’m sorry he said those awful thing.” He kissed her again. “Guess we need to go to the hospital.”
She sighed and took his hand as they headed out.
