Bo sat at his desk later in week. He had decided to look in the Parcel case himself. Nothing was striking him yet. He took a sip of coffee as he read Gordy’s notes. There was a knock.
“Come in.”

“Actually it has been interesting. I think you and I need to talk about Parcel.”

“Mike Gordy came to visit me on Sunday. Seems he heard I gave access to the casefile to a lawyer. To say he was unhappy is an understatement.”

“Spill Red.”
“I don’t have all my ducks in a row yet, but I am pretty sure I can prove Gordy was actually the mastermind behind the drug ring and he let Parcel take the wrap.”

“Cherryvale turned out to be very fruitful. Did you know that Gordy’s partner from that time was still alive and he hates Mike Gordy.”
“Tom Levin, you talked to him?”
“Yep! He has quite a story to tell. I’ve been fact checking before I make any real accusation, but Bo I have a lot already and I am only half way done.”
“You know I always thought Parcel got the shaft on that deal, it never made sense. But I was just a witness at the time, so I really couldn’t do much but tell what I saw.”
“I know and your testimony is actually part of what is going to get Gordy if I can put together right. That is why you and I need to go over it when I get to that point, but I am not ready yet.”
Bo felt himself beam with pride. The woman he loved was amazing.
He saw Nora smile.

The officers just nodding at them as they walked by, he smiled, he had a great bunch of people working for him. He looked at the woman beside him then kissed her cheek. He couldn’t wait to get her home.
“I can’t think of anything better.”

The officers just nodding at them as they walked by, he smiled, he had a great bunch of people working for him. He looked at the woman beside him then kissed her cheek. He couldn’t wait to get her home.
