Chapter 22

Bo woke up with Nora snuggled in his arms. Last night had been intense, physically and emotionally. He had never felt more connected to her, every touch, every kiss brought them closer together. They had fallen asleep discussing the pregnancy. He felt better about it, he still wasn’t sure if he was ready to be a dad, but he felt that by the time the baby came they both would be ready to for the responsibility.

He looked down as she began to shift. She moaned kissing his chest as she woke up. Bo wove his hands into her hair and tilted her face up. She looked beautiful.

“Good morning mama.”
He bent his head down and gave a small kiss. She smiled up at him.

“Morning daddy.”
She sighed and buried her face into the crook of his neck.

“You feeling better Red?”
“Yes, I am glad we got that all out.”

He grabbed her hand and held over his heart.

“I am too. I still can’t believe it.”

“I know. By Valentine's day we’ll be parents. Wow.”

The phone rang, both of them groaned.

“It’s too early.”

Bo kissed the top of her head and reached over for the phone.

“Buchanan.”
“Hey Bo, it’s Shawn. Nora home?”
“Yeah.”
Bo handed the phone to Nora. She scrunched up her face but took the phone.  He only half listened as she talked to Shawn. He was just watching her as he stroked her hair. He was a lucky man. If this baby had half of her looks and brains they be a lucky child.

She handed him the phone. He took it and hung it up.

“What did Shawn want.”
“Just to let us know, that he was closing his case. Jury will probably have the a verdict by the end of the week.”
“Good.”
He kissed her again. They both sighed as the kissed deepened. Nora moved her body over his. She straddled him and sat up as she ran her hands down his body.

“You have to get work anytime soon?”

Bo smiled as his hands caressed her hips.

“I can be late, best part about being in charge.”

“Good, because I plan on making you very very late.”
